Scott Schwenk - Healer

I don't normally allow a lot of people into my personal space for healing work, but from the moment I met Scott, there was an instant recognition that allowed me to trust him completely in this realm. Scott is a true healer in every sense of the word. He doesn't simply don his healer cap when he's in session with a client, rather he strives to live the life of a healer in every moment.

I've had the pleasure of receiving healing work from Scott both formally and informally, and in both cases, he is able to powerfully hold space and facilitate the process that allows true growth and healing to occur.

I strongly recommend Scott as a healer and a guide around any blockage or places of constriction you are experiencing in your life right now. He is truly gifted in creating an environment that allows you to open to and unleash your own personal truth. In my experience, this is the type of work that creates the most powerful life shifts because it is self-generated and happens on all levels.

I have  had several sessions with Scott - alone, in a group, and one (amazing) couples' session with my boyfriend - and I have been absolutely blown away anew in each session.  For anyone interested in spiritual growth and/or breaking out of old reactive emotional patterns, I cannot recommend Scott highly enough.  He is a deeply gifted healer with a powerful, intuitive, empathetic and loving presence who creates an amazing space for transformation. 

I can honestly say that I have had powerful breakthroughs in every session which continue to surpass any expectations I may have had.  For example, there are certain emotional patterns I have carried forward from childhood which have not served me well in adulthood.  Through traditional therapy and introspection, I had developed a high degree of awareness and understanding of these patterns.  And yet, inexplicably, these patterns still held me in their grip more often than I cared to admit.  Through my work with Scott, I have finally - seemingly spontaneously - begun to break free from the shackles of these patterns in real time, and have become increasingly able to remain centered and conscious in moments of challenge.  While on Scott's table, I have also been graced to experience the feeling of being cradled ever so gently in the arms of Love.  What a precious gift!  If any of this resonates, you owe it to yourself and your unfolding to give Scott a call.

I've been working with Scott for a few years now.  He introduced me to meditation, breath work, and many other experiences along the path. 

To describe my experience with his healing methods couldn't be contained in this review.  Words like amazing, insightful, liberating, powerful, deep, revealing, grounding, and connected are a few that I would use.  The experience is like being synced into the energy source of the universe and revealing to myself whatever in my space needed to be revealed, let go, accepted, and acknowledged.

We live in a world where people measure results… so here are a few. 

I connect with my wife on a deeper, more complete level every time I do a session.  It's gotten to be a “thing” where she is elated that I'm going to see Scott because she says, “I love seeing the Sam who comes back.  You're always the same, but really different.”  I know I feel different and shifted.  Grounded and expansive.  Loving and powerful.  I don't know how my feeling occurs for others, but my wife seems to see a difference. 

My wife's mom is a nationally recognized pastel and oil artist who was on a one year creativity block when we had her do a session with Scott.  She went on to paint dozens of new pieces and then branched off into an entirly new style for her, portraits.  But they are aura paintings and I don't think she even knows it. 

I could go on and on, but you get the point.  Scott rocks.

For the last few weeks I've been enjoying exploring the possibilities of a deeper experience of non-judgment.  I recently had the pleasure of a phone “session” with a Zaadz brother named Scott Schwenk.  I had read about various other Zaadzsters great experiences of healing with Scott, and although he's in California and I'm in Chicago… we got together via telephone.  I would encourage anyone who might feel a little stuck in some area to get in touch with Scott. 

I'm experiencing what feels like a new level of acceptance in my life since that conversation. 

I anticipate that this will be a continuing unfoldment of acceptance.  Right now, I definitely feel peace.  I am thankful to the Universe for all of my experiences and believe them to be teachers for my greater good. 

I am happy for those who are able to participate in various types of “sessions” with Scott in person, but I can definitely vouch for the very real connection and healing that can take place during a phone session.  I would highly recommend it for anyone considering spending time with Scott, in person or via phone.

Leading Transformational seminars requires an acute ability to distinguish and create in language that which is being distinguished.  It requires being the source of and at the source of the phenomenon of Transformation.  Sharing ones own Transformation requires a freedom and authenticity of expression that renders words and language thoroughly insufficient and unimportant.  Coaching people in sharing effectively the experience of their own Transformation in such a way that it is actually shared with another and therefore lives as Transformation in the world and makes any real difference requires as much understanding of the human experience as it does skill in the art of articulating that experience in language.  While I have become facile in this world Transformation I find myself at a loss for words in sharing my experience of the breath work Scott facilitates.  I am all but certain there is no sufficient language to either articulate or share the experience.  It really is beyond that which can be spoken.  At best I can point to and around that experience.  It can only be experienced.  Anything less dishonors the work, the experience and language.  To sum it all up… its bitchen!

As I try to properly capture my time with Scott, I know that I will not be able, in words, to offer the recognition that he deserves, but here is what I can articulate…….
My total being was utterly permeated by Scott’s loving presence. He is incredibly intuitive, powerful yet gentle, beautiful, fully present and extraordinarily gifted. The heart opening I experienced has awakened me to embrace the vast potentials and promises of love. The energetic release was absolutely unbelievable. I feel tremendously grateful to be connected with Scott and have him be a part of my journey and growth. I would urge you to work with him if you feel any resonance.

I was called to start working with Scott early last month, having had no previous knowledge of his work except that he uses breathwork.  The call came strongly, however, and I heeded it. 

I now believe that this call was a natural part of a transformational process which has led me to reading, contemplation, meditation, and yoga, among other modalities.  It has also included a kundalini awakening, which began after two sessions with Scott. 

The sessions before the awakening were transformative.  Scott's intuition and ability to stay out of the way led immediately to breakthroughs in thought and action.  The breathwork, a modality which had been successful for me before working with Scott, was far more powerful than ever before.  I felt supported, beheld, loved and believed in.  My intention, with Scott's support, began to come to pass more quickly than before.  I experienced a lot of release and felt wonderful after each session. 

Since the awakening, however, we're cooking with gas!  When it first started, over the holidays, I was concerned about being alone in my process here in Los Angeles.  Well, first, I do realize that the thought that I could be alone in the process, no matter where on earth (or not) my supporters are, is simply fear and not reality.  But since my fear is still a part of me, I am grateful that Scott is here, in the flesh, in Los Angeles, to support me. 

Three months ago, I would never have guessed I'd be on a spiritual journey now.  But I am, and I am delighted to have been called to include Scott in my experience and growth.  He is a powerful healer and teacher, and I wouldn't trade my work with him for anything else. 

what is it like to work with scott? the best way i can explain it is this:

go listen to “hallelujah” by jeff buckley and imagine the feeling of that song pouring through your heart until your whole body shines with joy. that’s what it feels like. it’s like being absolutely awash in what’s real for you in the moment, until your love and acceptance melt through whatever pain or anxiety it may have been causing you, leaving you flooded with bliss.

i first met scott about a year ago at a breathing circle he held here in new york city. i was instantly struck by his open-heartedness and humor, his vast knowledge and deep compassion. i’ve continued to work with scott privately whenever he comes to new york and i’ve also benefitted tremendously from working with him over the phone when he’s in california. i’m grateful to him for helping me transform one of the most challenging times in my life into a period of profound growth and positive change.

If you have made it all the way down to my comment and haven't called to set up an appointment with Scott yet… it's time. I feel the same way and completely understand why these comments are filled with such energy. The words that you've read (in my opinion) speak of deeper “trans-personal” aspects of the self that are waiting for us to awaken.  Scott is extremely gifted in helping us to recognize and stimulate them.

I have a hard time describing the experiences I've had with Scott so far. They are beyond anything that can be relayed to you on this computer screen.  Think of it like this. I had the pleasure to have a healing session with Scott back in november. It was one of the most powerful healing treatment I have ever experienced.
He made me realize how important breath is, I finally understood that breath is the connector between our physical bodies and our divine self.

I just completed an individual breath session with Scott. He not only created a safe space for me to be exactly where I was emotionally, physically, and spiritually, but to challenge me to go beyond my limits and to acknowledge me when I was allowing myself to do so.

I have also attended his group sessions, where he creates a holistic environment through the selection of music, the aromatherapy, and the clear space to receive profound healing on a very deep level. I recently enjoyed the benefit of spending some time with Scott as he guided me through an exercise in breath and meditation. 

In the short span of time we were together I reconnected with peacefulness that life IS and that I AM….in a way that's similar to the experience of getting my dirty car windshield washed.  And, in doing so, I released a number of firm attachments I had to the way life was - particularly in relationships with others and with my self. 

Because I've known Scott for quite a while – and have had the opportunity to witness so many of his individual skills first-hand – I find his current healing practice to be a perfect collection of and outpouring of all that is great about this man.

I also work in the inner development field and have been with a gazillion practitioners- reiki, energy healers, psychics, intuitives, you name it.  Usually, I feel like I have to help the practitioner out- either by imagining or by doing some kind of other work. Often, I come away dissappointed- even by seasoned and famous people. When I did my first session with Scott, I was ready to be a good sport but also ready to be underwhelmed. I was suprised to say the least.

It was not subtle at all- radical movements of energy and openings were happening. I didn't need to imagine or “trust” that something was happening. It was a direct experience. After that I have taken every opportunity to do a session with him.

Every session I've done with Scott has been a turning point in my inner life. There are so many mysteries inside of us- a session with Scott is a huge gift to yourself.

I had the wonderful chance opportunity of meeting Scott in another forum, and I must say that I am truly fortunate to have the spirit bring us closer.

Having done breathwork before, I had never been introduced to Scott's method and he showed me an entire new way of breathing and learning. Moreover, I learned the immense JOY one feels and I understood the Joy that you experience with him.

I love Scott's work!  Words alone cannot express what Scott does.  You must experience it for yourself.  He has helped me transform at a level I would have never reached on my own. 

Here's what I know about how Scott's work affected me:

1. The release of ancient energetic blockages that had been with me for as far back as I can remember, (and maybe beyond), was powerful, palpable.  Things seemed to shift on a cellular level - for instance, biological fear responses lessened.  Relationships with loved ones have shifted as a result of my sessions with Scott.

2. Scott's own fiery commitment to his path and his own inner “state” were both an inspiration and a parachute for entering this inner dimension of Freedom.  (It's like you're skydiving tandem into the Unknown with Scott.)

3. The opening of the heart that followed my sessions with Scott have made me aware of the power of Love in a way that I had not been able to experience before these sessions.  In other words, I find myself now standing out of the way of the force of Love that is rushing through me, with much less fear, less of my habituated responses, less guardedness, more openness, more childlike playfulness, more joy.

These sessions are an exquisite treat for the burdened psyche.  And perhaps more importantly, they are a gift on this earth plane, for all of us remembering the Truth of our own Being.

I've known Scott for several years now, and knew as his friend what an extraordinary, spiritual, wise, loving, kind, giving and fun being he was.  I had heard how great his sessions were from other friends, but it was not until recently that I learned for my self how gifted and talented he was as a healer. 

Scott creates a loving, safe and sacred space to tap into your highest self for your soul's highest level of healing in that moment.  He is finely attuned with allowing Spirit to come in and do the work while he plays the spiritual vehicle to bestow intuitive guidance necessary for the healing that is to happen in that session.

Scott's healing work is intuitive, compassionate and immediately present.

My personal experience with this work has been one of concurrently receiving meditation instruction and intuitive guidance in the form of contemplative inquiry. I found that Scott’s method is very effective for keying in those spiritual states we strive to attain, yet might have no words for when we return to the “runway” level within our day-to-day lives.

Here’s my take: Engaging out intellects simultaneous to expanding our meditative/intuitive awareness is an amazing way to integrate multiple levels of consciousness and attain the keys to re-entry into deeper spiritual states of being.

And on a very practical level, Scott’s work really helps with letting go of the “story” and discovering your Truth. So I especially recommend Scott’s work for those of you active “thinkers” out there with the mental hamster wheels a-turnin’…and you know who you are. ;)

I have experienced numerous forms of healing and breath work all of which have taken me to various degrees of depth within myself and Spirit, but none as powerful as the work that Scott does. I was incredibly impressed by his commitment to co-creating a safe space in which trust, non-judgment and High Connection were the ultimate goal.

While I certainly received (or was opened to) a high amount of Sakti on his table, I am continuously amazed by how open to that energy I am still, and how it just continues to pour into me, days following the healing. This is powerful stuff.

I have had the extraordinary pleasure of attending a breath-work introduction workshop hosted by Scott.  His presence is one of a beautiful, happy, serene and knowledgeable guide who is ready to walk with you through the process of removing the veils of illusion to see, to experience Awareness and Truth.  The guidance is gentle and focused - its intent is Love filled.

It is my opinion that when you approach Scott with sincere intentions toward working on your spiritual development - you will most certainly experience breakthroughs with his spiritually powerful and healing body/breath-work.  Working concertedly with you, Scott brings about Awareness of your connection to your Divine Higher Self - to that Divine Love Essence by removing blocks to that source.

I could tell you that I’ve worked with Scott both in group settings and in one-on-one exchanges. I could go further and say that in both of those, Scott’s intuitive gifts have led to deep breakthrough experiences. I could say more how much I trust and love Scott as a counselor and friend. While those statments are all true, and as complimentary as they may seem, they are just words. How can I describe such sincere intimacy and expansive caring? For me to describe Scott’s response to my inner needs and my response to his touch could never do the work justice. I just know, and that’s about as meaningful as I can say about anything. If you allow yourself to open up and trust in the environment he provides and feel into to Scott’s work…..you’ll just know.

I've done a number of sessions with Scott (one group + 3-4 privates) and I've really benefitted.  What I really like is that Scott gives you a practice that you can take away and do on your own.  I much prefer healers that do that rather than requiring you to always come back to them to further your development.

Scott has also helped expand my mind and awareness.  He has helped to open up the non-dual world to me and I'm very thankful for that.  I'd definitely recommend Scott to anyone looking to further their emotional and spiritual development.

I've attended both a breathing workshop with Scott, and had a private session with him as well.  Both were incredibly transformative!  I experienced amazing release, opening and energetic shifts in both.  Much of that is due to the safe, love-filled and high vibrational space Scott is able to hold for his clients and for the group.  He is an absolute innate healer who has a huge gift to give to the world.

I am feeling particularly blissed out right now as I have just come from a two hour session with Scott. I can honestly say it was nothing short of transformational. This man brings a level of presence and safety in his work that is extremely rare. If you ever have the opportunity to work with him, do not hesitate!

I'm very pleased to add to the chorus of praise for Scott – he totally deserves it.  I had the good fortune to attend one of his group sessions, and it was for me a deeply transformative experience, and at a time when I really needed it.  It enabled me to get over a big hump in my life, and I just loved the strong, intelligent, powerful and gentle way Scott guided us through the whole experience.  He combines eastern wisdom with a western down-to-earth quality, and he teaches and facilitates from a place of profound spiritual power yet without setting himself up as a higher-than-thou guru. 

Scott also seems to radiate a deep vibrational energy into his space, the likes of which I've never experienced before.

I have experienced Scott in both private and group sessions. I was amazed and impressed with Scott’s intuitive ability to guide my awareness to aspects of my ego self that was not aiding in my ability to be present to the Presence of all. The dual process of inquiry and breathwork freed resistance in my body/mind that kept me tied to unconscious aspects of my ego story, and allowed greater opening to the Love of each moment. Scott created a safe, insightful, and productive context for co-participation, co-healing, and co-creation. Once Scott opens the door, he steps back and leaves it to the individual to make the choice of walking through.
